DHL Express pakket en zending volgen

De internationale koeriersdienst DHL Express is bezig met het verzenden en ontvangen van mail in meer dan 220 landen, waaronder de Russische Federatie en de GOS-landen en is een van de meest populaire postoperators ter wereld.

DHL is niet alleen wereldwijd één van de grootste logistieke bedrijven, ook in Nederland verovert de Duitse vervoerder steeds meer marktaandeel. Vooral DHL Parcel, dat een (inter)nationale pakketservice biedt, wordt regelmatig ingezet door Nederlandse webwinkeliers. Dit komt met name omdat de dienstverlening, die vroeger zorgde voor wisselende ervaringen, de laatste jaren sterk is verbeterd.

DHL Pakket Volgen en traceren

DHL is een relatief jong bedrijf. Het werd in 1969 opgericht door Adrian Dalsey, Larry Hillblom en Robert Lynn. De beginletters van hun achternamen vormen de naam van deze internationale speler, die nu één van de grootste logistieke bedrijven ter wereld is. Het bedrijf bezorgt zo’n 1,3 miljard pakketten per jaar in meer dan 220 verschillende landen en regio’s.

In 2002 werd het bedrijf overgenomen door Deutsche Post en werd het merk opgesplitst in verschillende divisies, waarvan DHL Express en DHL Parcel wellicht de meest bekende zijn. DHL Express levert (inter)nationale express-zendingen voor pakketten en documenten voor zowel particulieren als zakelijke klanten. DHL Parcel biedt (inter)nationale standaard-pakketservices voor zakelijke en particuliere klanten.
