O operador postal nacional da Federação Russa "Russia Post" realiza a recepção, envio e entrega de envios postais em território da Federação Russa e outros estados. Nos escritórios deste operador postal nacional, o envio e recebimento de parcelas domésticas e internacionais é formalizado. Se o envio de encomendas e encomendas postais estiverem feitos dentro da Rússia, o pacote é atribuído a um número único de identificador de números de 14 dígitos composto por dígitos e quando o envio internacional recebe um número de identificação de 13 caracteres (números e letras do alfabeto latino). Ambos os números correspondem ao padrão S10 da União Postal Universal e o rastreamento das parcelas pode ser realizado pelo remetente e pelo destinatário do item postal.
