ePacket is a shipping option offered by Chinese and Hong Kong merchants when shopping on popular Chinese marketplaces like Aliexpress, Lazada, GearBest, Banggood. ePacket shipping allows these merchants to provide a fast and affordable shipping option for light packages.

In 2011, the United States Postal Service formally announced the new shipping service and agreement with Hongkong Post and eBay China, allowing ePacket shipping tracking from China and Hong Kong and receiving USPS First Class Mail Service along with a delivery confirmation service.

Tracking Number Format

The tracking number of EUB is made up of 13 characters beginning with “L” and another letter then followed with 9 digits and ending with “CN”. i.e. LK987654321CN

EUB is often used by eBay sellers to deliver items to USA, Australia and UK buyers. The items must not exceed 4.4 lb (2 kg) in weight. The total of the length, width and height of the outer package must not be more than 35 in, and neither the length, width or height can be longer than 24 in. An EUB parcel reaches its destination in 7 – 10 working days. The tracking number of an EUB parcel from China begins with “L” or “A” and ends with “CN”. The tracking information is available in the EMS tracking system.

ePacket also called EUB or e Youbao (e邮宝) is an affordable, convenient and fast shipping option offered by merchants in China and Hong Kong mainly for light parcels under the weight of 2kg (UK under 5kg). As the name (“e”Packet) implies, the shipping service was designed for ecommerce. It is an exclusive shipping service for merchants on eBay, Aliexpress, etc. ePacket is registered and can be tracked for online buyers to follow the status of their packets shipped out from China and Hong Kong.

How long does it take for an ePacket to be delivered?

Estimated Delivery Time to Mexico: 20 working days

Estimated Delivery Time to Russia, Saudi Arabia and Ukraine: 7- 20 working days

Estimated Delivery Time to other countries: 7 - 30 working days.

The above time is the average arrival time for ePacket. Some of the parcels may be delayed by holidays, bad weather or other reasons. In most cases, it should arrive in two months. Better contact China EMS as soon as possible if you couldn't receive it within two months as it's not normal.

Weight limit for ePacket packages

Each ePacket package should be less than 2 kg. The only exception to this is when shipping to Israel and UK. Packages to Israel can be up to 3 kg and packages to UK can be up to 5 kg.

International EMS (Express Mail Service)

EMS (Short for Express Mail Service) China is a subsidiary of China Post. Mainly operating China domestic and international EMS services, it is the largest provider in China's express service industry. Format of EMS Tracking Number

The tracking number (Shipment ID) of EMS is composed of 13 characters. It begins with “E” (represents Express Mail) and another letter and ends with “CN” or “CS”. Between them are 9 digits.
