The words beside the number matter more than its shape
An order number identifies your purchase in the shop. A tracking number follows the parcel after the seller sends it. Both can contain letters, digits and dashes, so length or appearance alone is not reliable proof.
This checker gives a quick answer from the number itself. When the answer is uncertain, open the shipping email or order page and read the label beside the number before trying it.

These cases often look confusing even when nothing is wrong with the order.
A number made only of digits
It can still be a tracking number. Postal services and delivery companies often use digits only, so do not reject it just because there are no letters.
A neat code with letters and dashes
It may still be an order reference created by the shop. An official-looking code is not automatically a tracking number.
Two tracking numbers for one parcel
Cross-border parcels can receive a second number when another company takes over. The newest shipping message usually explains which number to use.
Waybill, shipment ID or AWB
These labels usually point to a shipping reference rather than a shop order. Try the number beside the label; freight shipments may also need another detail.
Why a tracking number may not work
The first scan has not happened yet
A seller can create the label before handing over the parcel. Try again after the promised dispatch time.
One more detail is required
Some delivery companies also ask for a postal code, destination country or a reference from the sender.
The parcel received another number
An international partner or local delivery company may add a new number. Check the newest shipping message.
The delivery website is temporarily unavailable
A missing result can be temporary. It does not by itself mean that the seller failed to send the parcel.

Read the label beside the number
Use a number labelled Tracking, Shipment or Waybill. AWB means air waybill and is commonly used for air cargo. Keep a number labelled Order for the shop.
Questions people often ask
Can I track a parcel with an order number?
Usually not. An order number belongs to the shop and helps its support team find your purchase. Ask the seller for a separate tracking number or look in the shipping section of the order page.
Why did the seller send a number that has no updates?
The seller may have created a shipping label before the parcel reached the delivery company. The first update often appears only after the first physical scan.
Can a tracking number change during delivery?
Yes. Another company may take over at the border or for the final trip to your address. Parcels may show both numbers once the handover is known.
Can a digits-only number be a tracking number?
Yes. Many valid tracking numbers contain only digits. The label beside the number and a successful tracking result are better clues than letters or length.
What do Waybill and AWB mean?
A waybill is a shipping document or reference. AWB means air waybill. The number beside either label is often useful for tracking, although freight services may ask for extra details.
Why does the checker sometimes show no company name?
Different delivery companies can use similar-looking numbers. We show a name only when the number gives a clear enough clue; otherwise the safer answer is simply whether it looks trackable.
Does this check contact the delivery company?
No. It gives an immediate first answer from the number itself. Use the regular Parcels tracking page when you want live scans and delivery updates.
What should I do if the seller has not provided tracking?
Check whether the order has actually been marked as shipped. If it has, ask the seller which delivery company is carrying it and request the tracking number shown on the shipping label.
